leaking forks

    my forks are leaking a really thick oil, is this a major problem if so how much will it cost to repair

    Itll most likely be your fork seals, about a tenner to buy, its not the most straight forward of jobs though, so id go to a dealer, unless you know how.

    if there nrg forks moast likely need to be replaced

    problem witrh piaggio nrg/typh forks is the sels catch dirt.. people never clean them and uit wears the seal out, then the dirt sits up in the fork leg rotting all the lovely flat plating off the stantions. when you buy a new set, clean them weekly and whip out the seals monthly. just give em a good clean and they will last years. dont and they last around 9 months.

    if your lucky. shitty forks they use, better off butting kiddies pushbike forks in.
