alright peeps iv noticed gear oil leakin on my wheel coming from behind the disk so as im takin the pipe off and a bolt snaps in the caseing clean u can see in pic the bottom 1 :wallbash: :wallbash: ne ways theres play backwards n forward in the shaft that comes out the casing wat the hub bolts on to ne 1 else eva had this problem thanks karl
check platy in the bearing, id replace the bearing and seal (ask for an output shaft bearing and seal kit, less than 30 quid) the bolt (assuming the one wiht the tiny plate that holds the brake line) isnt really needed, its REALLY important on a drum engine but a cable tie will replace a broken holder on a disk and wont be any prob on the mot
cheers for the help done the seals all gd just 1 more thing is this snaped bolt in the exhust lug ne ideas how to go about it. was jus goin to drill right though the snaped bolt and then use a nut and bolt snaped flush wiv the casing so cant evan get a grip on it :wallbash: :wallbash:
ok i see wat u mean .on mine there wasnt a clip holdin in nut in but it wont kock out tbh it dont evan look like a nut coz its all smooth ie cant see nut shape iv been wacking it hard but dont wanna snap my casing shal i use sum wd 40 or heat gun or sumthing realy pee in me off now cheers karl
if its being a pain just drill the centre out (small drill bit) then go in wiht one slightly smaller than the thread.. should end u with a REAL thin hollow bolt. all the way through, then use a stud extractor to pull it out
