leakin gear oil

    alright peeps iv noticed gear oil leakin on my wheel coming from behind the disk so as im takin the pipe off and a bolt snaps in the caseing clean u can see in pic the bottom 1 :wallbash: :wallbash:
    ne ways theres play backwards n forward in the shaft that comes out the casing wat the hub bolts on to [​IMG]
    ne 1 else eva had this problem

    the play is normal.

    but looks like a seal or something as gone.

    i no i was missin i washer inbetween disk and nut
    u think that cud b some to do wiv it

    check platy in the bearing, id replace the bearing and seal (ask for an output shaft bearing and seal kit, less than 30 quid) the bolt (assuming the one wiht the tiny plate that holds the brake line) isnt really needed, its REALLY important on a drum engine but a cable tie will replace a broken holder on a disk and wont be any prob on the mot ;)

    cheers for the help done the seals all gd just 1 more thing is this snaped bolt in the exhust lug ne ideas how to go about it. was jus goin to drill right though the snaped bolt and then use a nut and bolt
    snaped flush wiv the casing so cant evan get a grip on it :wallbash: :wallbash:

    the exhaust bolts have nuts at the back held in wiht clip washers, nock it out and replace the nut.

    ok i see wat u mean .on mine there wasnt a clip holdin in nut in but it wont kock out
    tbh it dont evan look like a nut coz its all smooth ie cant see nut shape
    iv been wacking it hard but dont wanna snap my casing
    shal i use sum wd 40 or heat gun or sumthing realy pee in me off now

    are they same wiv nuts on the back wiv all casings.i got nut on outside verson

    if its being a pain just drill the centre out (small drill bit) then go in wiht one slightly smaller than the thread.. should end u with a REAL thin hollow bolt. all the way through, then use a stud extractor to pull it out
