    Hey all

Just been going through some of the threads in here about destricting a Laser X Pro.

Ive learnt they're destricted by a cone at the end of the exhaust.

Just wondering which end it was at, the manifold end, or the barrel tip end.

    Thanks.

i think its at the end where it connects to the engine. it should be too hard to see, its just a cone which you can take out

or if you havent got a disc cutter or grinder with my last laser I hit a larger threaded bolt inside of the cone and it broke the welds and the threads catches the cone from going inside the pipe and grind or finished the mainfold area from any sharp bits

I will just use a dremel.

The guys at Yamaha are doing it so i will prep it for them.

Started mine up today, and the laser was not much louder than my orginal exhaust, did have a tinny sound to it, though.....
Couldn't run it much because of all the snow, 1 foot, that was on the ground, and paved area's that were slippery...........
Everything felt fine, the engine sounded good, and clutch felt ok...will try it out when the roads are clear.............

if you aint got a dremel just use a drill with a stone attachment and hit the spot's where its welded and it should pop straight out :p
