i have an aerox with a gianneli reverse pipe and 4.7g rollers and airbox modded slightly i cut the little snorkel shorter. it has really good acceleration and kills my m8s sr to 50 but after that he overtakes i can only get around 50 what else can i do to gain that litle extra top end im takin my head off 2morro and polishing the top of the piston and chipping off any carbon ivr also de restricted the variator cheers
Erm.. Chippung any carbon off?!?! I some how don't think it will be that bad. And i thought it was the barrel/ports you had to polish?
Wont be getting no more out of an aerox with a pipe an rollers... Polishing the top of the piston is pointless. It's a whole waste of time taking it to pieces. Get a bore kit and be done with it.
Not really tbh. If you want more top end, get a bore kit and a bigger carb then jet it to suit. sorted.
wrong, these things will make it get there faster, if you want top end take wolffys advice then get a gear up.
e i no wat a gear up kit is but im guna need a bore kit to keep accelaration and ive only got 6 monhs till i get a car so i don wanna go spendin money on it
no it runs fine as it is and my local biike shop said its running fine as is, and unless i have an upgraded airfilter then he advised me to leave the jettin alone

but then my rollers are too heavy atm as i jut bolted on a stage 6 pro rep and as the bike gets faster the revs get lazier. and i no mine are too heavy as throttle resp. is shocking and it used to do it when i just bolted on the streetrace as they were too heavy then.
