    Hello

Let me first say thank you in advance for any help you can give me.

I recently purchased a Kymco Cobra 50, knowing it had to have some work done to it. I've replaced the headlight bulbs and the break light/rear light bulb. They all work fine now. The problem I have is that I need a new flasher relay.

Here's my old broken one: http://img691.imageshack.us/img691/9443/photona.jpg

It's 12.8V and I believe 10W - I don't know because it's rubbed off! I was given one at a motorbike shop like this one:

I had no idea relays were so hard to find.

How do I go about fitting this?

Like this one as in it's a universal indicator relay with 3 pins like your current one and not an LED relay which is listed in that ebay ad?

Relays are normally a simple universal part. You just find one with the same pins as on your current one and make sure it's 12v and plug it in.

Thanks for your help guys. :)

I've found a couple on eBay, and both look like they have the same connections. In fact, they both look almost identical to my old broken relay in every way. However one of them is 32W. I'm not sure about the other one as the guy hasn't got back to me yet. They're both 12V though.

Would either of them work? Or does the wattage mean it supports up to X watt?

    32W One: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....0&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:GB:1123#ht_893wt_1037
    Unknown One: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI....395098&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT#ht_663wt_1037

Sorry for the Q's but this is my first scooter so I'm completely new to all of it lol.

    Much appreciated. :)

Generally parts like this on Ebay are of shit quality, You need one with the exsact outputs etc or it will either fry or just plain not work.
