Koso clock

    Okay, if somebody has used one try answer the following-

    does THIS fit THIS or THIS for Gilera runner 125vx? :)

    I didn't get instructions with it and I don't have any speedo cable to try it out on and it isn't on the Koso website :rolleyes:

    it should do as the cable housing on koso looks to be the same as the runner clocks

    Okay well I'll buy a cable and see how it goes. Would it be a good idea to wire the speedometer through the headlights? as they turn on as soon as the key is turned to the on position.

    no you wire it to the igniton

    koso clocks use the speedo but the fitting's are actually higher, meaning the cable is a right old stretch to get on... it will go but you need to route the cable a little differently (in some cases you need to rotate the speedo drive round and fix it in the vertical p[osition) will soon see what i mean

    ahh i didnt know they use a cable.. cant you get wireless ones?

    Don't fit, cable thread is bigger. Koso said the guage is 3-4 years old. What now ?

    adapt it wiht a stepped thread adaptor and maybe find some cable centre you can cut to size...

    or theres a place in dorking venhill cables or summin like that the make cables made to your spec

    Yamaha R1 speedo cable worked on my sr.. i just got a bike dealer to match it up.
