Need the part of a kickstart that attatches to the vari, it has a small helical gear on it, for ac piggy engine, of mk1 zip if it makes a difference?
as much as it costs mate, needs to be brought so.., you can easily take it out of the mechanism by spinning it, and is at the end of the tranny case towards the front of the bike, if that helps to identify it

Got one off a 125 but think there universal. Can have it for a fiver delivered? If it doesnt fit you can send it back.
its cald a starter pawl.... connects to the starter dog on the vatriator (well the var end of the crankshaft, but without splitting hairs). not the same on the 50/125/2t/4t. think my old shape one is diff to the new shape... altho ive not checked it out, i just remember my old ass typh 50 engine being diff to the new ones, everything else is prittymuch. some zips will have old type engines
