short and sweet one Does anyone have any tips on refitting the kick start spring? i tried the way the haynes says and its bloody impossible!! The spring just coils up and makes it so that i cant sit that half moon gear all the way in. Been trying for around an hour and im ready to have more than a stern word with it!! haha p.s i did try and search for a topic, cant remember how many pages i got in but i didnt find anything.
Yes I spent an hour doing mine lol what you need to do is extend the spring where sits against the half moon I used a tiny piece of metal tubing I had lying about that fitted the the spring, got The spring on then just yanked the piece of tubing off. Hope you can get what I mean by looking at the parts you have in your hand
