the rollers in the variator are the light 1s that u get with it ,and the clutch is set to bite at 5000 rpm

but i cant seem get it passed 26 mph , when my mate had it he had it goin 45mph and that was when it was standard ,when i bought it wasnt working but i wanted 2 fix it up for something to do ,

i need help does anybody know what could be wrong with it , ie clutch not biting at right rpm , or wrong exhaust , weight of rollers

whats it revving like? as your going along is it revving low? or revving its tits off?

if you stick it on the stand does it rev the same? or differently?

sounds like the rollers are wrong. how do you know the clutch is set to bite at 5k? are the shoes evenly ajusted?

yeah like swift said, the rollers sound light.

if the revvs drop off after the clutch clears then the rollers are too heavy if it screams its nuts off all the way then they are too light. try upping the roller weight by a gram and see what happens.
