Im looking to replace my stolen ped with something thats relaible, good looking and will perform well with possibilities for future tuning.
    I've seen a 2002 Mbk Nitro(basically an aerox) and a 2005 suzuki katana(not the fuel injected model).
    Any advice? :)

Well I've just bought a katana AY50R 54 reg for a grand, fuel injected :p
It's in the GSXR colours if you've seen that before.

Haven't rid it yet since I'm not 16 until july 31st, as far as I'm aware very reliable, very comfortable but not quite as tunable but then again when you tune things up they tend to get thrashed and well they turn shitty.
Not to forget that Suzuki is Japanese woop :yahoo: In my eyes any type of transport made in Japan is fast, reliable and fuckin' sexy :p
Very nice bike to look at though, what color is the one you're looking at?
Only seen a red and a black 05 model.
Here's the same color as mine. >> [IMG]

Well, i have a katana my self the older version yet same engine. It is reliable and was a pretty fast 50 derezed.
If your seriously thinking of tuning and going above a sport 70. get the nitro.

Seat is comfy until around 15 miles sitting on it. then you start getting numb.

But, i have worked on a runner, aerox, nrg. and it is by far the easiest to take panels off and look at the sparkplug. or anything else.

Its a 2005.... the only thing thats making me lean toward the aerox is most of the panels on the katana are badly scratched or cracked which leads me to think it hasnt been well looked after

Indeed if its in bad condition by all means go for the aerox.

I payed £1000 for mine and it has nothing wrong with it nor does it have scratches and its a 54 so not bad

Nice Aerox, much better than a Katana.

Dont take it to bits, dont ruin it and dont break it.

    Its a lovely looking machine!

From an owner of a katana.

You made the right choice :)

Now enjoy your the aerox aswell as the carb position and how it takes the piss to access.
