got a skp 50
derestricted, leo vince tt exhaust. will i be ok to put a k&n on as it is or what else would i need to do?

 

upjet, and expect to use more fuel and lose power.

 

you could do but will just be louder do nothing for performance and will need up jetting and probs slightly lighter rollers.

 

basically its a whole load of trouble for no reason

 

but in saying that have just got a new bike with open filter on and was out in the rain other day was pissing it down on way to work left in outside in rain all day and went home in rain was ok didnt make any fuss at all quite suprised me actually was dreading it.

 

you will have to upjet if the airbox was a restriction in the intake tract
If you lose power and use more fuel its because you have done it incorrectly

I would suspect you will more than likey just gain noise on a 50cc unless like i said before the intake was a restriction
