Just another kid with a zip.

I recently had my 67mph derbi rear ended and consequently written off. insurance people gave me £1100 (200 more than i paid for it) so i bought a van and a standard 2 stroke Piaggio zip.

So my plan is to make the zip just as quick as my old derbi.
so far i have removed the washer in the variator and it now goes about 45-50 dependant on conditions.
i have also acquired a leo vince tt from a friends old gilera runner.
will this take me near my target when i fit it?

 

no you need a 70cc kit and a small increase in the gearing to see that, as true speed anyway.

 

thanks for the answer but all the 70cc kits i can find are LC my zip is AC. that wont work will it?
how fast could it go kept as a 50cc?
