but ill have to buy them first. maybe ill have to ring the yamaha dealer n ask. they are £100 from yamaha and i can only find aerox's for spares. so u can see why i want to make sure

Alright Ross you are wrong, both Aerox and Jog use paioli shocks of different lengths. I'd imagine they do as their lowers appear identical, whether they are is another matter :p

Mate i just got a set of aerox forks complete off ebay for 55 quid, save yourself some time and just get a set of secondhand units ensuring they are in good condition like mine are.

I meant get Aerox forks, 99.9% certain they'll fit as they will fit a Booster so they should fit a Jog ;)

Maybe they have changed for this year but the secondhand units he would be looking at would be off an older bike with paioli units

so anyways. u cant beat a good tape. the dia for the forks on the aerox is 30mm and for teh jog its 25mm. therefor the yokes differ but they will still fit! you'll just need the aerox forks and wheels. :)

take a look at my new post please.....

how to comvert a drum break to disk break.

erm, unless the new frame is bought new you cant re stamp it.. that would be a plain ringer..
has it had an engineers report?

    Details.
Scooter was crashed by my younger brother.
    Bent frame and yoke.
Took it to the yamaha dealer.
They reported " The frame is twisted and cannont be repaired. The forks are in good condition but the yoke might have been damaged. for us to look into the damage into more detail you'll have to pay by the hour"
    No insurance cover.
The blokes from yamaha said its atleast 2days work. at £50 an hour. with the farme, yoke and new pannels ur looking at a price thats more then the value of the bike.
I sat down n had a chat about my options. They said declare the bike as sorn and by a new frame. then modify what you would like. Send it down to a mot center when completed and get a pass. Get insureance and Tax then ur all set again.

New frame £250+vat from Tinklers Norwich (yamaha dealer)
Stamped buy the engineers at a cost of £25

I know where ur commin from u most get loads of 16yo's on here sayin i wana do this (ilegally) and then u have to say to them u do know thats ilegal dont you.

This is all lagit im even going to report what colour i spray the bike n get it all changed over as its going back on teh road. its just a winter project as the bike was free i fort i could still make some money on it. even if its £100 then ive got a project under my belt. a lil experiance with scooters and one happy young man.

£250 for a new frame!?!?!?! are you mad?

buy a sec hand one off ebay and do it the legal way, your bike assumes the identity of the frame youve bought... yamaha numbers are a wierd painted sticker on the frame neway not stamped

and aerox yokes do fit if theyre pre-01 yokes, but with that you need fork legs, muddy, front wheel, bars aswell i think? and then you need an aerox engine and wheel and basically its ballache, stick with a jog yoke
