Hello. so basically ive got a Jog RR and its been in a accident.
My younger brother fell of this ped and he reckons he was doing 20.... and twisted the frame and yoke. hes still holding onto this story even tho i know its total bulls**t. lol.
So a few pannels are also damaged apart from that. its a lovely ped.
The engine is still in good condition and thats why im carrying out this project.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 thing tho. i didnt take a picture of the bike before i started.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The yoke and frame was bent enough so the wheel was stuck in one postion. you couldnt move the handle bars.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
On these pics the camera is basically square. so u can see how bent the frame is.

A close up of where the frame has been squeezed in. You can imagin that its ment to go in a sr8 line up and its totally shagged. non repairable.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The yokes are totally out. Ive placeed the front wheel spindel in postion where the yoke is ment to up str8

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
last pictuer after day 1. (1 hour) im a busy man lol.
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 2. Taking the rest of the pannels off and starting to take out the engine.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Day 3. Ive started on the pannels. wet n dryed them down and im going to start priming them soon. im using Plasti-Kote spray paints as ive herd good things about them.

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Exhaust. Leo Vince TT exhaust. Is the cone still on this exhaust. i dont know what im looking for. if anything i would say its that part thats sticking out. i dont have a dremel. just a hammer and screw driver. oh and a blow torch. What needs to be removed to derestrict it.

legally it cant be repaired. its to badly damaged. some1 could mod it though for non road use ie track.
ive got my eye on a yoke and frame. frame will be on a 03 plate. need to do a hpi check first tho.
Any1 know what milage ive got to show when ive chnaged the engine over.
The milage that comes with the frame a logbook.
    or
The milage that my engine has?
idealy what my engine has. its done between 1000-2000 miles.

its vehicle mialage... can use engine mialage tbh and i always do but it should be the overall milage of the vehicle befor a complete rebuild (with recipts) wich gets a quick check an you can zero the mialage.

hum.... well thats a slight problem. ive found a new frame and yokes for £45.
both in great condition. frame is 03 plate. dunno the milage. engine is 1000-2000. how do i prove the milage? old bike (twisted frame) doesnt is a 55 plate and hasnt had a mot yet so no data will be recorded. therefore i cant prove it. also the new frame im buying mite have on the mot that the bike has done x amount of more then what i put down. ill just have to ring the dvla about this.

ok, treat as a frame replacment, if your using ALL the parts off the other bike use that mialage but the chasis number and no plate off the new frame...

keep all your recipts just incase

yea. i rang the dvla last nite.
there is a poijnt scheme. you write downw what you have chnaged over from 1 bike to the other and depending on how many parts u chnage over you score a certin amount of points. once done they tell you what plate and milage you get for your frame. you then have to pass a test like an mot but more indepth at a charge of £45. £15 retest if you fail.

    :) brilliant.

right. new frame and yoke is on its way! :) should be here next week.

Now here are the 2 routes i can go down.
Sell the bike and make a profit because i got the bike for free...
Keep the bike and sell my car as im gettin a works van...

if i keep it then ill be looking to tune it. keeping things reliable ill want a 2 ringed piston.

What setup would be good for my bike?

will i need a new crank with a 70cc kit?
will i need a new carb with a 70cc kit?

im lookin at a torque driver, vari kit and gear up.. thanks

ok then. i dont want to cheap out but im not after the best you can get.
it will be purely for comuting.
so maybe if i can get the bike to do 60+
ive got a tt pipe which i belive can be used with a 70cc setup.

i was thinking of using a complete polini setup.
    so polini 70cc
