I need so advice on jetting iv got a runner 70 Mhr rep 70 , pm baby 59 , malossi 21ml carb , malossi reed petals. and i duno what jet to put in it. Any ideas ?
i had a pm... same as EVERY new member seems to directly ask me silly things like this.. 1. theres a guide on jetting/rollers 2. theres a million and one bikes about with a similar setup but just to keep things simple start at around 92 with the jet, it will be big. never used a pm 50 pipe so wouldent know on rollers.. would guess around 4.5 and work heavier till the revs drop off (read guide if you dont understand) should get you runbning atleast
jets sorry Im running a k&n air filter i had a 95 in there and it run to rich and spluttered and boged then i put a 88 in and about a week later i had a hole in my piston and iv tryed inbetween i put a 92 in and it still run rich
its too much mix not too much fuel in the mix.. drop your roller weight. sounds like there holding it back. like i said bang the 92 in.. it will be rich but wont cause any harm and you should be able to set the transmission up with that jet.. once the revs are doing what theyt should lean the jetting out
