Jetting

Hi, ive got a suzuki ay 50, ive fitted a polini variator kit and a doppler s3r exhaust and it still does 45mph as it did before, i think it needs up jetting and was wondering how much to up jet it by????

i think its roughly 5-8 percent for an exhaust
probabally about 5 percent for the variator kit

and make sure u have taken out the pipes restrcitor

Thnks nd yeh i have taken the resrictor pipe and cone out

 

5% up-jet for pipe

no up-jet necesary for variator...but i suggest experimenting with roller weight for perfect set up

Also stiffer springs in clutch more than likely needed with sports pipe...
if you buy a pkt of springs with 3 or 4 differenf tensions you can experiment
