Just fully derestricted my 05 aerox (variator and std exhaust) and I am planing on fitting a malossi airfilter and was wondering what jetting you would recomend any help much appreciated
the restrictions are usually two pipes that came off down by the manifold, they don't go anywhere and look like they dont need to be there. You need to cut these off and weld over the holes that will be left. there isnt normally a cone restriction in the standard pipes but always worth checking for one, it would be in the the down pipe straight off from the manifold. the box you described is the secondary air system, its used to help 2 strokes pass emission tests as far as i no. There not seen on aftermarket exhausts so i suppose you could remove it if you liked. then the bike will need to be upjetted and the rollers would need to be lighter to
Hi cheers alex for such a fast responce, I wasnt expecting one till tomorrow I think il leave that box i described on and remove the second pipe thats be pinched at the end. I have just also purchased a mallossi air filter that I will be adding to my bike what jetting would you recomend to a bog standard aerox full destricted inc pipe and also what weight rollers cheers again chris imp:

trial and error matey, i think the standard rox jet is 62 innit? just buy some jets close to that mark probably a 5% increase Aaron
alright cheers dude so am i right in thinking if the std jet is 62 5% of that is 3.1 does the jet im looking for 65.1 ish
cheers for tell me the size so does have i got it right in thinking if i need to go up about 5% with the std jet beeing 64 I will need to buy a 67.2 main jet also do you no what make my carb is i beleieve its std or what jet i should go for on this site http://www.donotlink-pedstop.co.uk/p/Pr ... egory=3385
and if you buy say 5 jets, then you can play about.. I've been told before .. No bike will need same jetting all are different, even if your "mate" has same bike. just have to play around with the jetting
according to scooter attack, 6mm jets fit 12.5-17.5mm carbs and 22mm carbs 5mm jets fit any other dellorto carbs or summat along those lines
