Jetforce problems :(

    right my jetforce has just started acting up lately and im well confused as to why.

    Only mod is the Doppler S3R pipe other than that its standard.

    Its been really hard to start recently taking almost a min of electric start to get it going but it was running fine until the other night, now when it gets going it runs really rough and wont idle, just cuts out as soon as you stop giving it revs.

    Normally i would just play with the idle mix but as its fuel injected im lost.

    Any ideas?

    yep... i know exactly whats wrong wiht it... unfortunatly too many fucking idiots have wound me up today to care

    take ti to a shop an pay somone to fix it...

    Attempting to tune a Jetforce was your first problem lol, couldnt have picked something more unsuitable if you tryed.

    Your second problem could be the fact that your ECU needs remapping for more fuel as its injection? All I know is people have endless problems when tuning this bike.

    wont start off the electric start verry well? chances are youve burnt out the rings.. using ANY tunning goodies, fuck even derestricting these means you need a new module (the piggy one has a derestricted fuel/ignition map) my honest advice is ditch the injection and grab a carb.. then fix whatever the prob is.. might just be a fucked sencor somwhere making it to lean/rich to start up but i think its a pasive module.. as in pre programed ecu with NO learn/sencor functions

    I wasnt trying to tune it, just needed a replacement pipe and the S3R i got for free so i whacked it on.

    I dont like this bike much tbh but i wanted to use it as a run about until i get my booster running nicely.

    Considering just selling it atm. I cant be bothered with a carb conversion as im not keeping it and i have no idea how/where to get the ECU re-programmed. Would it run okay if i just replaced the rings or should i just get rid of the thing asap?

    running a pipe is tunning it... ill swap you a stock pipe for the sr3 if you like? LOL

    it mght not be ring relayted.. if it was a carb moddle id say rings if it starts fine off the kick but shitty on the electric. choke if its just as shit to start off the kicker..
    dont really mess with injection tho m8...so not sure i can help much

    best bet is bang it ALL back to stock an see what its saying.. if its still naff bang some new rings in there..

    The jetforce C-TEC's are good but i have herd no end of pepole have problems with then TDSI version!
