jetforce compreesor

    i am thinking of purchasing a jetforce comp but unsure weather to, its for my 17th so not untill next year but always like to plan in advance :w00t: any tips an guides would be helpful ;)

    Umm... Jetforce, or jet "farce" as my local pug dealer calls them... The early ones were very unreliable, with the fuel injection system... The compressor don't half shift tho... :pimp: If you do think of buying one, by a new one, (with 3 yr warranty) or make sure is has full service history... :msn1:

    The compressors are all talk no go. Lots of cash for something that is slower than a 172. :msn1: Something silly like 16bhp at the rear wheel.

    really? i thought they would be quicker than a 172, as they have a turbo lol obv not if i was to buy one it would defo be brand new, its just the price £3799 :wtf:

    they are restricted electronicaly , i rekon it will give a runner 172 a good race and am sure a big bore kit will come out for them

    a compressor isnt a turbo is it :msn1: ? isnt it supercharged?

    its pretty much the same thing...except a turbos driven by the exhaust gasses...and a supercharger is driven by a belt...

    Theyve both got their pros and cons...

    yeah. cant beat the little kick in the back feeling when it kicks in tho. suppose your a fan of superchargers then

    No, I'm a fan of turbos and superchargers as both have pros and cons, I'm just in a sarcastic mood tonight.

    but if you wanted to ride fast you wouldn't want lag at all.

    have 2 turbos one for low rpms and another for high rpms then u could cut lag :pimp: think someone does this might be bmw not sure tho

    Nissan do it on the skyline gtrs and i toyota do aswell on the twin turbo supras.
