Hello i need some help with my typhoon 125 . when i got it it had no air box fitted and a power pipe after running full throttle for .5 of a mile or so :cray: hole in the piston i have since replaced the barrel and piston allso fitted the correct air box . can any one tell me the standard typhoon 125 jet size so i have a base mark to work from or advise me as to the jet size to fit so no more melt downs thank you
if it has MIKUNI VM Slide carb; and only, MAIN JET 82.5 PILOT JET 35 STARTER JET 40 NEEDLE POSITION 3RD notch from top. PILOT SCREW SETTING 1&3/8 turns out. Check the make of carb first.
it probably died at part throtte... same as most typh's do when you put a filter on. it needs the needl lifting and idle mix ajusting. it will still need a bigger jet for a filter.
