Well heres another one to the list haha ! You have probabley seen my old nrg it was mint ! sold it for pennies £320 to be excact what was i thinking ! I Miss that bike so i bought another one.. Starts off with a 03 plate mc3 this bike has to live up to the old one.. Purchased a few months ago and has been used for work, The engine had done 22k and to be frank wasnt in best condtion.. So i started off with a rebuilt consisting of new crank..mains..seals etc and a dr70 kit. The panels are shockingly rubbish the paint is shabby and they could do with being sorted out. Today had a delievery consisting of new forks, lenses, side stand and new oil pump cable. Will update soon with further plans and pics. Cheers
Sounds good mate, hopefully will look as good as your last one! you got any finished pics of ur old nrg, u never finished updates on ur old post. you got the panels sprayed black and an evil front panel, no pics of them on though
silly money for that bike ah well you know not to sell this one now oi got rid of my old nrg 70 for no aparent reason only to offer to buy it back, boy wasent interested but funny enough a week later it got sold for 100 quid.. silly considdering it had a 2 month old pipe on it worth 130
Yeah well i put it in the local freeads and internet sites and the amount of intrest i had in it was silly ! after i sold it i had 11 calls ! And apprently it has been stolen now .. Anyway update.. The front panel was cracked..chipped and in crap condition so set to work on it, Drilled some holes as was going to fit the nrg extreme type of headlight covers the (small ones) but decided going to make the front custom now ! Fibreglassed and moulded the shape skimmed filler and primer and presto from this.. to thiss Fitted new forks yesterday and new brake pads and bled the system all mint ! Pic of it when i first bought it and my old Aerox ! The plans at the mo are i suppose just to sort all the panels and repair them and get the ready for spraying as its just a bike for work back and forth, so im keeping a DR kit. standard airbox etc as want it reliable. On the other side tho.. im buying a nice 172 motor and im going to 172 it later on in the year so ive got an excuse considering ive got the 125 loom and various other bits :rofl: And here is how it stands present waiting for a poxy fuel tap..the diaphgrams are a nightmare for me its the 2nd tap going on now :w00t: Update soon Cheers
