Right ok I know I aint exactly a regular on here Just heard that Jake was involved in an RTA earlier today. Single track road, he came round the corner and there was a car stopped in the middle of the road. He tried to avoid it/slow down but unfortunatly his bike (dr650) ended up underneath the car. Apparently he was up and walking about afterwards. Last I've heard is he's in hospital but no broken bones or serious injuries. Here's hoping he makes a speedy recovery :up: (oh ad btw, apparently the car's fucked :mrgreen: :bird: )
ah shit, these incosiderate motorists just don't think of the consiquences, bet jake will get the shit for it too. if anyone can get news to him, wish him a speedy recovery and i hope he gets another bike sorted soon. (unless the buletproof dr survived)

Well he's back home now. From a text : "Grazed on me right arm and left leg badly, right knee is bad (was explored, cleaned, and stitched back together) back of right calf is randomly stitched (canny mind it being cut), chipped a bone in my left hand and soft tissue damage on right foot and ankle. Oh and morphene rules!" :bike:
Cheers folks :beer: Back on two feet (albeit with a crutch/crutches sometimes) right knee is too tight to bend and right foot is awkward, other than the grazes i'm alright. Dunno what the outcome will be yet, Few things to sort out first but again, Hope i get off just as light! (Oh and Levi's AREN'T good for falling off in!)
glad your better fella. im still using frame / crutches to walk. gonna be like 6 months before i recover fully.
