Hi john and synco! I just bought a naraku 112mm clutch bell for the CPI (NK900.49) and it does not fit the morini engine. The attachment is different. I will try to cut the middle parts out, swap them, and weld them back together. I will let you know if I succeed.
Hello John, I'm a new member, I joined the forum after seeing your topic, I am Italian born in Florence, have two Formula One air-cooled and cooled to a liquid in which it is done by fitting an engine block piaggio 1802t .. in Italy are not seen by many more years of Italjet formula and you Fò my congratulations on your purchase! at what point you are about your own project? Yours sincerely, from the Italian wolf
I know John, that's why I bought it. Unfortunately it doesn't fit. Anyway, I made the conversion: I cut the middle part out of the original clutch bell and weld it in the Naraku bell: a closer look: and bottom view: So, who says the CPI clutch bell does not fit the morini engine?
And here it is in place: I went for a ride today. There is a huge difference compared to the original one. It revs a lot on startup. I will try to make a video of it as soon as I can.
