    If it works.:).,-
sorting one of these old icons out, would'nt see any problems/self...sourcing parts & stuff from places like Asia, etc.,seeing what they get up to over there & and there attitude in dealing with 2 wheels, damn right .!!.;).
    (postage.o_O.,could be a reeeeeeal beatche,mind.....military planning/reckon.:D ).

Yeah, postage could be a bit costly, but I have a plan:p
As i strip it, obviously i'll write down exactly what i need, or want to replace if i can't renovate or repair satisfactorily.
So when the list is complete, I shall endeavor to get most, if not all of the parts from the same place. Thereby, only one delivery, and hopefully all the parts at the same time.
Already found a hard chroming place locally, and i'll use the same powder coaters that did the parts on my 1100. I'm hoping that the chromers can do zinc plating as well, as the hubs and lower fork stantions could do with stripping and re-coating. I also have someone who can re-spoke the wheels and true them properly.
I will have the bike in concourse condition when its finished, with no modifications as i think it would detract from the sale price.

Overseas suppliers have this weird weight size thing going on,
been able to figure that'd be best to get 1 large item.then several smaller parts,to bring postage down on a massive level-
just need to open up a good dialogue with seller,as their quite happy to work with you to cut down p+p cost's..so to give you opp.to buy more parts.;. -
'sitting' down together and having a pow-wow,even if by e-mail is the key/reckon.:).

I've been having a look around again for parts/spares, was having thoughts about the clocks, bracket just didn't seem right to accommodate a rev counter plus no hole in engine for a rev cable which got me thinking maybe the '78 model didn't have a rev counter. Just found a couple of photos showing only a speedo present, so thats solved that then.

Yeah, was looking over the weekend at parts, not going to buy any yet though until i start the strip down, but did notice that there was a difference in the RX and RXS. It's the clocks that are going to be the killer i think, getting a new original is going to be hard.

I have a spare set of clocks off my old goldwing in a box somewhere, I actually wondered about fitting just the speedo to it seeing as it's the round 1970's type.o_O
