I bought a used 50cc Suzuki engine and fitted it fine. its had a new piston and has the original exhaust, i bled the oil pump and its getting the fuel fine. but it just sounds a bit raspy when i accelerate? what could this be? :thumbsup:
ok, its light brown and looks in good nick to me, its not such a problem now as i just rode it around the area i live and it sounds orite now, thanks anyway =)
if you have just fitted the piston, it's maybe a touch of paranoia that we all have, on the first few miles on a rebuilt engine. the main thing is, give it a chance to bed in, before any speed trials.
