My friend recently bought himself an Aerox and with the purchase he received an extra gauge cluster with both a speedometer and a tachometer, so i was wondering if it is possible to replace my speedo to the one with the tach without too much electrical trouble.

I now know that it really isn't plug and play, because the speedo with the tachometer has a connector with 10 pins and when i checked my connector which only has 9 pins, although it is the same looking connector.

I know that the tach became a standard option in 2004/5 and my scooter is a 2003 model(it was an optional extra in 2003). So is it even possible to install the meter with the tach?

Thank you very much for any possible help!

I forgot to say, the gauge cluster i have is damaged. One of the bottom mounting holes and one of the top tabs have snapped off, so the entire cluster shakes while i am driving.
