I've just been told that a 50cc can only do 35mph now and are physically incapable of doing any faster even after derestriction. I've had two 50's previously and both of those would do 60mph. Have 50cc bikes changed that much or was the salesman lying?
Research the hell outta the ped your fancying,feedback off other buyers well give a good indication on how to work it for your benefit and not how much they'd like to restrict your usage,salesman like playing with customers an will try to steer you in a certain direction.;.
Is the speed difference you are talking about because of 4t vs 2t?? Could be that modern scoots these days are all 4 stroke (not sure how accurate this is, just a presumptive guess) which are obviously less powerful hence the speed difference. Most 50cc two strokes should easily manage 50mph+ derestricted.
