Hi, I have always wanted a rotor ignition, I understand what they do, but I am unsure weather to buy one as I have converted a ac zip to lc, so obviously I am running an external water pump which relies on the battery. Is it to risky getting an ignition as it doesn't charge the battery, or willi have enough time to get to my destination and then swap to a charged battery? Thanks.

    My set up

    Stage 6 mkII racing bore
    Stage 6 crank
    Stage 6 clutch
    Polini high speed variator
    Polini kevlar belt
    Bgm pro water pump
    Stage 6 v force reeds
Motor force carb and air filter
    Malossi gear up, primary

Some of the ignitions on the market have 12v outputs so you can still run ur electric pumps or lights.

The Doppler one, MVT Premium and the PVL 1st gen (not sure if still possible to find them though) do have that kind of feature. ;)

There is also a polini one with light. Not manufactured anymore but u still find them. That one isn't an internal rotor one but apparently if performs way better than all the other ones with lights. :)

    Plenty of choice :)
