So i recently passed my test and got myself a little car . When it came to insuring it i was gobsmacked at the quotes i was getting. It actually worked out 1200 cheaper for me to have fully comprehensive insurance with the girlfriends dad as a named driver . I am curious to see what the rest of you guys are paying for yours motors (and theres one for scooters sooo...) Car - 1992 Renault Clio 1.4 RT Age - 21 Location - London (sw) Licence held for - less than 1 month Company - YouChooseInsurance.co.uk Cover - Comprehensive Annual Premium - 1185.93

Got a quote for £1732, in late December, passed my test in Feb and the same company now wanted £2345. I asked them why the £600 increase and they replied it's because of the gender equalisation, I said that I am a male so surely that could not account for the increase, they had no reply for that. They then offered a multicar policy for my Ibiza and my dad's Jag at the same price as my car alone. Work that one out.
i pay £380 for my vw van with porsche 3600cc 360bhp engine with nitros oxide , around the same for a totally standard caddy van with just 68bhp, and recently just been quoted £114 quid all fully comp for a porsche 964 limited mileage of 3000 miles value £20,000, how can the caddy van totally standard be twice the price of the porsche and nearly the same price as the porsche van , also to get the price to £360 for the caddy van the insurance company told me to tell them i am a joiner who uses the van everyday as it would be cheaper than saying i am unemployed and just use the van for camping trips and taking the dog out about twice a week ,
