picked up i cheap typhoon 80 but it needs a couple of parts anyone know of any places to get cheap second hand parts apart from fleabay cheers
also how much would a typhoon 80 be worth roughly ? not a minter but decent. just needs a few bits. like i say i got it cheap so whatever i sell it for will be profit just wanna know rough prices that the 80's are going for cheers
Tbh the 80ccs are a bit of a rare item in the UK. But unfortunately not a good rare bike. Nothing wrong with them in terms of reliability. There is just no market for them. It can't be ridden by a 16yr old and any1 over 17 would opt for the 125. Also tuning a 50 would make It just as fast. I reckon £375 for a good one because of the reasons above
Fleabay as you say, gumtree and bike breakers. It is essentially the same as the 50 with a bigger bore so you shouldnt struggle for parts apart from thr piston and cylinder paets maybe
cheers for the reply need to have a good look this weekend for the few parts i need for it. someone at work today said the 80's can be made to be fairly rapid ?. only paid £50 for it with full log book and tax and m.o.t till march so either way its gonna be profit cheers again
think im gonna sell it ive got a nrg power so think il put the cash towards some bits for that (70 kit,pipe,variator ect ect)
like i said in the reply to your pm i aint splitting the ped there is a couple of typhoons being broke for parts on ebay you might get an engine there
