hi all am new here as you have probably guessed lol i have a yamaha neos 100 and just wandered if anyone could help me have been readin the pages of this forum for a while so know that theres a few ppl on here that know what they talkin about and some that don't lol anyway first things first: what size rollers should i use? is there another engine hopefully bigger that will fit with not much modification? what rear shock should i go for?? i think thats it for now i am running standard exhaust which has had restrictors removed and restrictor from variator taken off standard clutch springs belt etc... i would like to make it faster by just dropping new engine in not putting a big bore kit on if possible i know i need to get a sports exhaust but is there really much point when the one i have on only has standard silencer part on the rest is custom made cant tell you how fast it goes at the minute as the speedo cable has broke but before all these mods it was doing 50-60ish mph i think this is my use everyday bike and will be getting used throughout the time i spend doing bits on it so any help help wirh this would be great and greatly appreciated just for info sake the bike is a 52 plate 02 model just incase anyone wants to know when they replying as i know certain models differ thanks in advance people.
Sell it and get summat else. 100cc peds from any manufacturer aren't reknowned for their tuning potential and aftermarket parts are thin on the ground. You've got a scooter thats ideal for a commuter, but not many kids would really be interested in so why fuck about shoehorning another engine into it only to end up spending loads on it and never being able to sell it.
cheers buddy wasnt really thinking of seling it but that day would probably come one day was just gunna make it a 1 off thing get rid of everything original other than panels use different lights etc. are most of the aerox engine parts same? if they are air cooled models?? thanks again.
thanks buddy just needed to get that straight lol wasnt sure theres that many engine or that many different kinds should i say? a lot of manfufacturers use same base and just put their name on dont they? well anyway ill be taking pics of my project as it goes on might not be for a few days or so until i get started gunna do all bodywork first than do engine as theres more to go wrong with bodywork engine is easy job am unsure what to do with body but there wont be much in way of holes and where stuff should have been that is standard :mrgreen:
