ok ive got a nrg power dt i hardly use so thought i should use it more and do a few bits to it so a mate of mine just sold his and gave me a pm tuning 70 kit that will fit my ped i also entered a comp in a local bike shop when i bought some bulbs (it was one of them do you want to be entered into a free comp things) and i won i got a new leo vince tt pipe that has the springs and rollers to suit it and a pm tuning foam filter and a box of dellerto jets to set up the exhaust and filter.
so after looking around the net it seems i should get a kevlar drive belt ? and ive been told not to fit the 70 kit without a gear up kit as it can damage my engine ? so whats right can i fit it all and it will be fine or do i need this gear up kit aswell that i dont really wanna buy ? cheers for any help and info

you dont need a gear up kit to fit a 70 kit. thats bull.

you will need to upjet like you said, and the filter isnt necessary but you could fit if you wanted, you DONT need the belt unless yours is shot, i spent something like 30 quid on a kevlar belt and it made the smallest amount of difference going. there you go. now go fit the pipe and 70 kit ;)

all belts are kevlar ;) just the malossi ones aare made up of a few more layers...

dont need the gear up as above, simply bolt the kit and pipe on and set the transmission/carb up and itl be golden :)
