indicators both rear and front are not flashing on my piaggio zip 50cc 58 plate. i doubt it would be the flasher relay as the bike is so new, does anyone know what it could be? cheers
Your bike has no flasher relay. It`s part of the regulator rectifier unit under the left hand panel as you sit on the bike. This unit has to be replaced whole and is expensive. There is a get round where you can fit a generic flasher relay and still keep the std reg/rec unit but it involves some wiring and a £4 relay. Are you up on wiring diagrams? and codes? probably not as you believe this scoot has a flasher relay and hav`nt downloaded a diagram or traced the problem so I won`t continue. Suffice it to say if all the bulbs have tested good and the switch is working then this will be your problem.
ive changed the regulator/ rectifier on the left hand side of the pannel and it still dont work?? what else can it be?
