Indicators flashing erratically

    Ive got a problem with my indicators. When you first put either side on it flashes normal for 1 flash, then they flash fast. Sometimes they flash in a random sequence. They are wired up correctly and are all bulbs not leds. Ive recently changed my regulator so it cant be that. Any ideas?

    charge the battery up.. was it a NEW rec? has it only done it since installing the new rec? sounds like the rec is reducing down to 1v but in ac not dc... could be indi relay (if its not part of the rec)

    All earths are tight and ive just stripped and checked every wire, theres no loose connections and yeah the rec was new and ive got a known working one out of my old speedfight. Could this be because my speedfight had an ac system and my ludix is dc? And it doesnt have an indi relay

    if you cant find a seperate relay its usually part of the rec, terible system... all stators spit out ac voltage, the rectfier does exactly that, regulates the power down to a nice 12v dc, its basicly an inverter. id check both model numbers for the rec, might not be the same model to model... id deffo try find the relay tho (will be a 1" square box with 4 wires usually) unfortunatly its french, and has a wiring issue, best luck to you lol but if you have checked every wire and cant find a relay its most probably the rec to blame... find a diagram for the wiring if you can :)

    Only little boxes i can find on this ped are the starter relay, cdi, oil pump control unit thats it. Will try changing the rec for a new one and i know what your saying about french electrics, had electrical faults on my previous speedfights and my renault clio haha
