This is actually thee worst amount of bad replies I've seen put together on here. I'm not including everyone who has replied to this topic but I'm sure the slightly more mature and broad-minded of us will know which people I'm talking about. Unfortunately this has really shown how the scooter community is affected, the same as all the other types of enthusiast gatherings, with people who just make us shake our head and say "how sad"-the old saying of "minority spoiling it for the majority". Can you imagine having got into scooters you come across this forum and that's the first topic you read with all those posts. I wouldn't be able to hit the delete button fast enough to get back to Google and continue my search for another one. Fortunately having spoke with some of the members on this forum I know there's a lot of good people on here so I'm not really fussed with reading those comments. With regards to the topic and subsequent replies:- It is an easy option to be racist, use racist language, generally just have hatred towards people for any reason. The real challenge in life is to take what comes to you easily from the poor influences you may have come across/been taught/disillusioned with through media and the commercial world and choose to create an understanding on your own principles and morals Why not say "hold on a second, if I try and give each person a chance on their own merit, be nice to others for non-personal gain and accept that SOME people aren't nice-OTHERS are". I previously harboured such views towards other races due to a small number of confrontations I had with boys who happened to be Asian in this case. However I realised the stupidity of what I was doing by defining people as arrogant trouble makers simply because of 2 incidents I had experienced at that time. I decided to actually try to make friends with people of other races to break this habit quickly and realised that not only do you find people like yourself from other races but you can learn a huge amount from them and their own outlooks. I just realized this is an entire post devoted to non-scooter conversation ON a scooter forum (which I get annoyed at myself lol) In short, if you aren't able to get over your opinions on people's race or sexuality that's your choice-but it's not the choice of others to read about them. So if you're so proud to have those beliefs then you'll be honorable enough to know that YOU think them and live your life by them and so won't feel the need to prove anything to others. Rules are rules so if you don't want to abide by what someone, who has taken the time to provide you WITH this forum, has requested you do then simply leave the forum-wouldn't that be a better stand for your cause? And BTW calling people gay doesn't really make many people laugh anyway, makes me just think "what a stupid little idiot, I bet gay guys prob get more girls than him anyway" lol P.S although to represent both sides of the argument on here (if you can call it that) calling someone gay "oh ya gaydo" is technically a branding of that person by their sexuality. It can be said that this isn't meant with malice but if someone came on here and said "alright ya prody" or "alright lil christ boy" I'm sure a large number of people would take offence to that, me included, as someone would be talking about you as a classification of person in which they may or may not have negative views towards. By nature everyone would take that as a threat. So even the non-racist people on here, why not take a sec to think how you're coming across on here to others, if only to save yourself from being thought of as an idiot. We're all just here to help each other with our scoots and shoot the breeze. I'm 22 BTW before you lot go thinking I'm some older guy getting on his high-horse at you young folk.
gotta say well said Christophe, i wish a few people on here would see things the same. there is a fine line between having a laugh and going too far, the line is different for everyone, hence why arguments on this forum arise. if you feel the need to express your views then use another site, if there is something on here you don't agree with then either contact a mod or admin or retaliate away from the forum, this is a scooter realted site, not a forum purely for childish dispute.
well put i agree  People could get into a lot of hassle if this was read by someone else, i think it should come to a stop before people going to get into trouble for it. You may only see it as a joke, but other people may not and you would have a hard job explaining that...
we should stick to what this forum is all about....scooters and tuneing!! Theres plenty of forums out there that cover the other topics
i dont agree with the racism but the your post also works the other way around a homosexual added me on msn the other day telling me im cute and stuff and its just not called for!
Reply Yeah I've been in that position before, someone introduced themselves to me (again with the msn add req) then, to give him his dues, he did tell me that he only wanted to talk to me cos he fancied me. This was a while ago but I thought yeah it was a bit devious but I guess he's just trying to talk to people he likes or whatever. Same way I, and I'm betting a lot of you guys, have probably got chatting to a girl who wasn't interested in guys-you'd be suprised at how many times you might've actually done that n thought you just got blown out Anyway, yeah you make a good point. I'd imagine you probably don't have a problem with gay people so much but the guy doing that made out to be some kind of weirdo sleize gay person that just wanted in your pants lol...the type that many guys think they all are and hence why they want to stay as far away from them as possible. You do get them but in all fairness I've known a lot of sleazy guys who make girls want to (literally) run away from them or our group if we're in a bar etc-the door swings both ways I guess (no pun intended lol)
lol yeah i guess your right but i wouldn't try chat up a lesbian so i guess the should leave me alone!
my ex turned out to be a lesbian after 5 years :msn1: even i dont need to feel the need to gey-bash. i'll stick with people i know in future tho, mum wouldn't turn gay on me mmm
lol my uncles wife turned lesbian after been married for 10 years i always say he turned her, you see hees a right uncle nobhead!
ha, my ex's mum was a lesbian, after being with her cousin to have kids. should have seen the fuckin warnin signs there
