Hi there im in need of a little help, ive saved up quite abit of cash now and have been looking for a new ped.. Basicly I have a fucked up piggy zip which I am going to use for a project/to learn on, and I need a ped to get from work and back.

Im after something thats a bit of a work horse, something thats very reliable and can cope with alot of miles since it will be used everyday. And needs to be able to cope with alot of short distance rides, I only live 1/2mile from work. Ped cant be a pig to work on either I want something quite easy to work with.

What would be a good ped to look for? I was thinking maybe a 4 stroke?
    Thanks for any help

I'm not sure if a 50cc 2 stroke will cope with my short distance runs to work etc.. Plus I have a 50cc 2 stroke zip which im going to work on when I get my new bike.

I was thinking along the lines of a 125 4 stroke. But need to know whats a good bike..

BTW max spending limit £1500. Want summit almost brand new with little miles on it.

why not go for a nice cheap zip 125 4t? will go for miles, be reasonably fast compaird to a 2t and did i say it will go for miles with FUCK ALL done to it..

then you have 2 bikes that feel the same, have the same controls and can have bits an bobs swapped over... at the same time theres one you just plain dont fuck about with as its a work bike leaving you with a nice zip to tune to silly spec ;)

just my 2 pennys anyway.. ether way you can always bodge a 200vx wc engine ionto the 4t zip if you get bored... bet THAT would be fun

dont do it,... the 1090's are slower than a 502t.. just get yourself a 3/4 year old wityh full service history.. can still finance a second hand bike from a dealer and itsa alot cheaper. wioll find a banging zip for the money your lookin to spend on a new one.
