Hello, I have got a Piaggo typhoon 70cc. It was running fine this morning, rode it to college and it just wont tick over. There is a huge amount of smoke on cold, and then warmed up still quite a lot of smoke is pushed out the exhaust. The bike use to idle quite high and now it wont idle at all. What shall i do??
Im not an expert but what your describing sounds like a bust ring or head gasket. what colour is the spark plug inside like?
when you say it used to idle now it doesnt, does that mean it starts up but dies straight away? if so try adjusting your fuel mixture. seeing as its winter now you would need to richen it a bit
sounds like gasket or rings... any power loss at all bud? as in wont go as fast? also look at your spark plug, if its black fuel mixture needs to be adjusting....
