Well, as I use my ped for work each day / night... This morning on the way back from work, I managed to finally 'fall' fowl of the weather. Took a shortcut across a tarmac carpark & ended up kissing the canvas, as I wernt sliding down it with the ped on top of me. Then, when I managed to get back up, i fell off again, this tiome on a main road, sliding my way towards an oncoming Citroen people carrier Moral of the story is... I'm taking the bus tonight! Stay safe people!
twice in 1 ride, thats unlucky, no injurys to yourself or your ped????? im lucky my scoot is mainly just for fun, altho i had to risk it the other day roads were fine until i got to where i was going and had to do 200 yards on a snow covered road, just the tinyest bit of throttle and i was sideways, not fun at all.
Just a bit of a bruised leg & ego. Ped is fine (I think), apart from when it went down the first time, it went down on the exhaust side. It's ground away a tiny little bit of the end of the exhaust tip.
Unlucky mate. At least you have the courage to ride in these conditions. Hope your leg gets better soon
didnt even risk it this year, although last year i went out in the snow on my sr 50 and it was probably one of the stupidest things i ever did
