from my point of view, with no offence intended.

all you seem to do is throw money at a bike and then add afew bys touches to it. ok yer your bikes come out well, but it always seems like you've tryed to hard.

you know absolutely nothing about tuning engines, and your bikes only have few bolt of parts thrown in.
on the same league as your average chavs 'showcar' that is actually just a shit saxo with a bodykit and some flashy paint at the end of the day.

and to be honest, stop messing about with 70cc bikes, theres no market in this country for them, a standard runner 125 will no doubt be faster than your bikes you've built. if you want to make a name for yourself build and tune a 172 (or similar), sell maxi scoot parts then alot more people will be interested in what your shop has to offer.

IMO [again this is just my view, no offence] People may not use your shop as your probably more expensive than say scooter center, SIP, Scooter Attack because you buy from your products from them [unless you have a direct relationship with the manufactors i.e. polini, malossi etc.] which means you then have to raise your retailing price in order for you to make a profit [and obviously you want to make a profit, which is understandable] Another reason why people may not like/use you is because a] your not a very well established and b] your site could be more professional.

I also agree with stevo, about engine tuning, your bikes look good but dont go anywhere, if you spent a bit more on tuning i think you'd attract a wider auidience, because at the moment people see you as a shop that does great custom bodywork, rather than seeing you as a scooter tuning shop.

I dont think anyone on this forum dislikes you or your company, maybe just dont agree with what you see as "European modding".

Anyway, good luck to you and your shop and i really hope you do well out of it mate.

    James.

I have never used your shop because i havnt seen much advertisement for it, and hav'nt heard any reviews about you.
I know you do custom paint and bodywork but what else do you do thats different from any other shop selling scooter parts?.
And i agree with stevo, you dont have any maxi scooter parts available.
If you had a dyno machine or an engineer that knew how to port/flow, that would surely be helpful to attract customers...everyone loves to know how fast there bike can go.

    hi people

we do now how we are doing when it comes to tuning, and if we didn't we wouldn't get results like this

i can get that sort of widedning in about 15 mins with a dremel and coarse stone, how well does it match your barrel, how much wider have you made the transfer feeds onthe barrel, what alterations have you made to port height etc...?

as every one else has said, your scooters do look good, and i'm sure most people on here would agree with me hen i say i'd love a scoot to look like that, but i, along with many people on here prefer a scoot with go rather than a pretty one, £400 on visual makes a prety ped, bin it once and your'e back to square one, £400 on an engine and your'e guaranteed 5000 miles of better performance, as long as you don't do something stupid.

your concepts are great and i love the end result you get, but on the forum we tend to look at practicality more than aesthetics.

most 16 year olds can't afford to get their scooters completely re-sprayed and styled, and can't afford to have it off the road for the time it takes, therefore simple bolt-on-bits like pipes, kits etc.. are the only mods.

when you get to the 125s people tend to have more cash to throw at them and alternative transport, therefore they will spend more money on their bikes. diversify your business towards the 125 scene and i'm sure more people will appreciate your work.

hope this helps and didn't sound like a dig at you. also the way you come across on the forum is like you are plugging your business, that's not what SS was intended for, advertising is limited to what the admins approve of.

ok, like james and stevo, my opinions, no offence intended.

comments like that ^^, "we do know what we're doing, if we didnt we wouldnt get results like this"

that is a minarelli case that has had the transfer feeds opened up, that isnt a result, its casework, a result would be two dyno graphs showing the difference between stock, and your work.

erm, i guess a lot of it has been covered, the bikes are done to a high standard, but at the end of the day they are too samey and just a bit typically custom.

and also i think the "we have tried to put the european scene in the uk" thing.

i just feel like you're a bit cocky, as if YOU are doing US a favour.

im sure you're all nice people, but you're just 3 guys, same as anyone else, but you have made a company out of what we are all interested in, when, no offence, a lot of us do it better then you.

this isnt a dig, or a public slating or whatever, im being genuine for once.

I have never slated boost ya scoot...im not like that!!

But you lost out on a sale the other day because your web site is crap ;)

I wanted to order a stage 6 ready pressed 16% primary gear kit...now as you probably realise theres not many places that stock stage 6 in this country...

your 1 of the only few...so i logged onto your site and guess what...all i got was a load of pretty pictures of stage 6 bits and bobs...no prices...no ordering facility nothing...

so i logged onto scooter attack and made my purchase ;)

get a proper web site with prices and an orderling facility and we will take you seriously!!!!!!!!!

And you never know i might even buy something...who phones these days :D

Im not going to bother writing it all again, but same as everyone else has said.

however i did not like the way you advertised the stage 6 70 kit to a newbie, knowing full well with a huge stage6 ad in ur name he would come to you for it. And you tried telling me i was wrong when i said it wont be as reliable :confused:arc:

most people who tune there scootes work hard to get the money to do it and it takes time to build and it comes from there own plans so to be fair i respect those people more than i respect companys that just chuck loads of money over there bikes without realy thinking what there doing to it.

your sites a little more expensive rather like "donotlink ped stop"

the sites alot harder to use as dave said so obviosuly communication is an issue

when we asked you to give us a ball park figure on one of your custom scoots

If I can remeber properly you couldnt even give us a proper answer,

alot of people of this site would buy off you but it seems your attitude is a little lame from a proffesional point of view

dont get me wrong your work is amazing externally and perhaps internally, maybe you have built very good engines we are yet to see

I am just giving fair critism here rather than "yeh m8 ur pedz look well gd init" and to hopefully get a good reply from you.....

in conclusion you need your site advertised more and you need your site updating aswell well as your customer relation skills....

just my opinion of course, I am buying some new parts for my rox soon, if your site was a little better and maybe cheaper you could get a very good name in the UK market,

i never heard of your businness until you appered on the forum what does that say?

I'd have to agree with pretty much everyone.

One thing though. Do not come on our none profit website and give bad advice on parts (which you just so happen to sell) with a large advert in your sig when we have a no trade rule on our site.

There is also no excuse for such a shockingly bad website as other people have already stated. Even a simple site just to show your location and a bit of useful information would be better and cost hardly anything in professional terms.

the only thing that really annoys me is like rhys said, the blatant advertising and no relevant contribution to the forum.

other than that i think the bikes look amazing, especially the aerox you did

but try logging on more than once a month and get to know some people on the forum

I had never heard of you until this post lol.

But yeah your website really needs sorting out. In many cases it is going to be the first thing anyone sees, so you need to make a good impression. I would probably buy from you but your website makes you look unprofessional and slightly clueless.

Scooters are definately nice, but like what everyone else keeps saying, your website is shockingly bad!

I was making better visual websites than that when I was 11. Lots of spelling errors and shabby picture sizes are unforgiveable. Try giving it a more professional theme - and use a spell checker.
