i have recently changed my rollers and belt, to 4gram rollers and a mallossi belt but now instead of it going like 40-45mph on a straight it now goes like 35-38mph! it only has a leo vince tt exhaust the rest is standard..... Any ideas how to get it back to 40-45mph on a straight??? or can someone tell me how to get it to 50mph on a staright without a 70cc kit and spending minimal amount :)

ermm... maybe because u changed ur rollers to lighter ones?
lighter rollers = more acceleration , less top speed

mind u saying that u changed ur belt, belts need wearing in

lighter rollers does not = more acceleration, less top speed, and the wieght of the rollers needs to be right so your engine keeps at peak power, so if you put really lite rollers in it will rev higher than your powerband and you will move slower than with heavyer ones, have a look in the guide section at rollers explained think this will help you alot, also i think 4g is abit light with just an exhaust, good look mate hope this makes sense

You're never really going to hit 50 without a 70's. For what you'd spend you're better off buying a 70's, Aerox's could really do with a variator kit though. I'd seriously look at buying a malossi sport, almost 3 times the power and will hit a genuine 55-60.

yes i agree a 70kit is the way to go, if you buy a malossi sport its cast iron so if you set it up right it should run for just aslong as the standard and give you some nice power, also you should get a variator kit as jonnymarrw00t said its crap as standard and will be easyer to set up with a performance variator and pull alot better.

No need for any of that. The tt will work fine with a malossi sport. Can be ran on the standard crank standard air box standard carb only need like a 5-10% upjet. and a gram on the rollers normally.

I take you havn't up jetted for the TT either ? Or was that done previously ? All you need to do is remove the carb from the manifold, Best way is to remove all the pipes but leave the throttle attached, then turn it upside down un do the two skrews on the bottom then they'res either a 5 or 6mm round jet with a number on it, You just un skrew that replace it with the new jet then skrew it back together and put it in the manifold :)

you can even leave the carb on to rejet. just unscrew the 2 screws on the float bowl (bottom of carb) there will be abit of petrol init, then its the big jet in the middle, you unscrew it an itll say a number onit :)

It's try and play tbh can never really get ir right first time and You'll need like another 10-15% fo the exhaust so say 20% for both, Should be fine. Do you know if it's 5mm or 6mm jets ?

A stock 50 with a different pipe should hit a true 50mph just make sure the transmission is set up and you wont have any problems.

My SR50 with LVTT,Malossi belt and the tranny set up gets off the dash (50) so im presuming around the 52 mark maybe more.

Danny. No. If it's showing 50. You're getting less not more. Speedo's are generally designed to go about 3 mph UNDER so you don't get a ticket though a speed camera. But they can be up too about 15mph out depending on the age of the bike.
