My first memories in my childhood include a bike, or I should say a tricycle.

I should start with my latest bike, The Yamaha Aerox 50cc Scooter, particularly as I am on a scoot forum,
    a beauty, I don't know why I waited so long :)

Ok thanks, I had a 50cc as my first Bike and I hated it around here, took awhile to get to 30mph, my 125cc now gets to 50mph really quick though, suppose 50cc's are good if you live in certain areas without many hills.

Yes JoJo, it is what it is, I bought my Aerox 50 cc just to get the kind of fun you can't get from a big bike :) they all have their place ;)

Derestriced the aerox can achieve 50-55mph. And thats with standard parts. Thats how they come from the factory. but in certain countrys they are restricted to 30mph. This can easily be changed to achieve the 50mph that it should by simply removing the restrictors from the variator and the exhaust

Isn't this for the people who have not yet past their test, who are waiting to do their CBT

All mopeds in this country are restricted at birth,
apart from some of the old pedal/pop's- and you'd need a
bank loan to get a decent one of those!,
This does not matter whay status your licence is!,
There are onlt 2 ways too de-restrict you're 'ped in this country,
Illegally ("i'll have one of those, those, that + just to be sure one of them ++
no officer I had no idea or it was on the bike when I bought it. ;)
    OR
    Legally (ouch!!,motivation essential!!!!!).

No they are not restricted for people without CBTs. They are restricted for everyone regardless of license.
The reason being once it is derestricted it is no longer classed as a moped it is a motorcycle.
But there is nobody I know which keeps there scoots restricted
