Okay basicly i have a honda x8r-x, i got it for 300 about 6 months ago, it went 30 no more no less so i put a new variator on it and a leo vince tt. then i got 40 out of it so i got a outerpully drivebelt and 17.5 carb, it now goes 45 but boggs alot nomatter what i ty it just wont stop bogging and im getting pritty fucked off. anyway its come to mot and tax time and ive got a choice weather or not to sell as spares or repair or to carry on go through the mot?

o and if i sell, how much do you think i would get? just any guesses would be good.

You've spent money on it now, so theres no point in just giving up because its bogging!
Try to tell us more about this bogging problem, where does it hit? low speed or high speed?

You've changed carbs so it will need to be setup with the correct size mainjet and the idle mix may need adjusting.

You've now got a pipe on there, so you need to change the rollers to keep the engines rpm's within the pipes powerband. Normally you would try lighter rollers than the standard set when you put a sports pipe on.

Seriously its probably only gonna cost another £10-£20 to get that running nice

well i got it back, it made no diffrence atall  i dont understand how this is possible the bogging is still there, what are the inlets like on x8r's could it be worth changing? right basicly i can put the throttle to about quater and get to m40 nice and smooth, if i oull the throttle anymore it starts bogging and wont go any faster.
