I did it. I bought a 32' 5th wheel RV and am living in the mountain desert above San Diego CA. I was spending $3500/mo. U.S. Dollars to live in a condo in San Diego. I now spend $515 U.S. to live in an empty RV park in the mountains. The drive to work is a bit longer, but the savings on rent covers that. So, I am in a freefall livestyle, or a lifestyle freefall. It does not matter. I am happier than I can remember, debt free, and pretty much happy. So this old hippie turned engineer has turned back to a hippie again. Sort of a hippie engineer now days. Oh well. So it goes.......
Forgot to mention the China Scoot is already a local favorite. They see me drive down in town on my scoot. It gets more attention than it needs.
We (my little sister and I) have been talking again about pooling our finances and buying a dis-used farm in the welsh mountains. She has an idea and i can make a living anywhere really, so its no skin off my nose where i live or work
