Picking it up Wednesday.



The pic doesn't do it justice at all nor does the other pics, will take some with a good camera then add them maybe Thursday.

Ohhh yes mick, took a while, but this popped up and I think I got in there quick enough to secure a deal, comes with alot of spares and loadsa carbon fibre bits...which I'm gonna sell :rofl: Has got another 2 sets of exhausts, 1 to fit 996 and termignoni (or fake) not sure yet.

I'll try n get some more pics

Lol agree with minor, but they handle like a dream apparantly, iv always wanted a go on one, look lush too, I followed my mates dad on his one once on my CBR, sound lovely in a different way.

Thanks Stig, it's a Ducati 916 Biposto 1996. The belts were done last year, massive service done, replacing the belts within 2 years or 4k miles I think it is, but I'll keep an eye, going to do the servicing with my Dad.

Minor, I ride my bikes all year round, I started when I was 4 years old. I've grown up with bikes and know how to ride them. I'm not ya stereotypical 35 year old with money and no sence who buys one for the pose value and only uses it when it's dry. Can't tar everyone with the same brush mate. It's known to be one of the best bikes of all time and I want to experience it, just love everything about it tbh.

Yeah I've heard about the handling, will let you know purplepill ......I do know what you mean about the stereotypical Ducati Sunday biker but that's def not me. Sounds mad too unk:

It's 916cc (Raced in the 1000cc class back in it's day)

It's a V twin. Getting loads of extras, including rear paddock stand but not the front, might get a front though.

Looks sweet mate make sure you get some vids up of it running, guy next door to me has one started it up the other morning at like 8 and i tell you it was the best wake up iv had lol

I plan on getting a 996 as soon as i can im joining the army at the end of the year so i should have no problem getting the cash but fuck knows where im going to keep it.

mgyz3, yeah I'll get pics and vids when I get it, I want to get a flyby vid too.

They take a lot of looking after but treat it well n it will be fine, I see a 996 today at Ace, didn't see any 916's though.
