conrod comes straight through the crankcases, followed by a loud scream as the piston makes contact with your kneecap at mach 2. merry christmas
lol, crackin answer :good: there are a few symptoms tbh, rumbling noise will be the main bearings worn and if left too long can either ruin the web of the crank they are mounted on or can wear out the crankcase they sit in or worse still will collapse and ruin everything in sight. big end will be more of a knocking and will do the same as the mains if left, either wear out crank, rod or explode and ruin allsorts!! mains can also be detected by grabbing hold of the rotor and checking for up and down movement but this could, if there is movement be any of the problems. same sort of thing with the big end, remove the top end and piston and grab hold of the conrod and check for up and down movement, side to side movement in both is exceptable to a certain degree but if this comes with the noises then investigate further. hope this helps.
quick answer, if you need to ask a silly question like this it is usually down to one of 2 facts.... ether you suspect the crank is fucked and want reassurance from an anonomous person on some internet forum that your bike wont blow up (lol) OR your too lazy to actually go buy a haynes manual and read up on the usual diagnosis of part failure like the other 99% of the opoulation... ether way its still a silly question... general tunning, not general mechanics a million people have already wrote somewhere else. forums are spoilt with silly questions, as the people that can really help the people that need specialist help end up answering questions you can read in any old build manual...
quick answer, if you need to ask a question like this then ether you suspect the crank is fucked and want reassurance from an anonomous person on some internet forum that your bike wont blow up (lol) you know its gonna go when the conrod has more space ether side than the manufactors maximum clearance... if in doubt, change it.. cranks take other parts with them when they snap/give up...
