    Hi,

I did my A1 test on a 125cc scooter so I thought it would be restricted to automatics... But I don't see it on the restrictions.

Have your licence in front of you,'an call up the dvlc/a directly to fully explain all categories to you as you recite them,
if at any! point the operator is unsure - give them a reliable contact no. (mobile) you'll have on you no matter where you are.

I don't get it, if you did it on auto it goes without saying it will be auto restricted?

That's what I thought but the only restriction listed is that I have to wear eyesight correction.

Yeah that's what I'm saying, I don't have a code 78. I just have code 01 which means I have to wear my glasses. I'm guessing they made a mistake. Oh well, I guess it doesn't matter.

If it isn't on there then as you said they must have made a mistake.

I always found it odd that you could ride a geared bike or an auto on a CBT yet as soon as you do an auto A1 licence you then cannot go back to a geared bike...? It might be something to do with that where by they just write up all A1 licences as allowing you to ride both.

It does matter mate!,don't give up so easily as could have reprocussions.Remember it only has to be done once.
Best to be safe than sorry.
