Has anybody installed or hooked up a tire inflator to their scooter? I don't assume it is too difficult to install and it would be fine to run it off the battery when the bike is running? Would it be best to have an electrician wire it up? There is a wire and odd connector point already installed in my scooter under the seat but the connection point would have to be removed and the correct connector from the inflation device put in its place? Does this sound logical or possible to do?

Sounds like something out of a spy novel actually & kinda of odd,are you thinking of using this when the bikes running....riding.o_O.¿.,
Personally can't understand why? you'd want to use it,when bike is static,as you'd want to visually inspect tyre before pumping up,an certainely NOT when riding as could make puncture worse, create blowout's.........

I'm a big fan of the stationary manual pressure regulating pump.

Sorry, bike running means turned on or started up, not inflating while driving. I was just wondering if it can be hooked up to the battery somehow so it uses the batteries power. Primarily through the connection point I was mentioning instead of removing battery cover and hooking up electrode points.

Even if it did work,i'd stick with good ol fashioned hand/foot pump,mate...sure as h..l fry your battery quicker.;-).

Suppose a foot pump will do. The smaller the better for storage. Preparing for a tour of the Great Britain and last thing I want is a low tire pressure related issue! Right, so argos it is then! ;)

    NOW you tell us why?......
rucksacking it??,may be a pain to get out, though hopefully not too often - get a mid-size one & stick it in the bottom to stabilise the base,so's to rest on seat well to take strain off the back.
    Argo'd click & reserve,pretty much helped furnish my flat,so it has.:) -
    order,out the front door/pickup + back (dvd player)... 35 minutes flat.(on foot).:).

Try a co2 seal n flate for roadside repairs. A old fashioned cheapo bike pump won't take up much room.

Picking up a large storage box for bringing some clothes and essentials, back pack for more crap I will need. Planning on going from Scotland, to London and then back to Holy head in Wales... 2 week trip with loads of stop offs. Now where can I fit on a spare tire just in case?.... :D

I would suggest AA road side/recovery, a spare piston/barrel/small end kit, new tyres before setting off.

Oh dont, just took one of those off a zip.
Some plank had cut all the wires at the back of the ignition switch to fit it!
And just twisted the wires back together again with some electrical tape. No wonder the electrics were playing up.o_O
