How to increase the gear ratios to prevent over reving?

my mate is looking to get the malossi sport 70cc kit. It says that its recommended to increase the gear ratios.

does anyone know how you go about doing this?

If you dont know then dont bother. Same as your air filter, you fit it and now your bike bogs, so you post on here because you dont know how to sort it.. Heres your answer, stick the airbox back on untill you learn how to tune a carb.

Why dont people just buy an old shitter to learn on before fucking up their pride and joy..

Sounds harsh I know, but its the truth.. This is why every 16year old has a fucked up ped, they buy something thats nice and fresh then they fuck around with it, 6months down the line its in the scrapyard.
