how to get the temp working

ok on all the gilera runners i have seen none of the temp gauges work is they any way round this or why dont they work and i want to wire my fan up on the radiator so i can turn it on when i like how would i do this just wire it to the batt with a fuse or somethink like that cheers lol

 

temp guages go because the wires connecting to the temp sensor snap off all the time, so just replace them.

as for the fan, just take a wire from the negative of the battery to the fan, then another one back from the fan to the positive, and just stick a switch on the positive wire.

would be much easier to just wire it into the ignition, so when you turn the key, it starts
