takes me 5 seconds :p haha
And you dont need tools..or, well they dont make tools that small and if you get one it will be expensive and does nothing more than what your fingers are supposed to do
    Soo...
-make sure everything is lubed up
-rings are the right way around(something I never thought would happen to me after doing hundreds of them and just happened.)
-piston is the right way around
-G-Clips are in(I remember on my fist few engine I once forgot it. only realised once it was back in the quad and had the take the whole damn thing out! haha)
-Dont ever force it in, if you do something will break.
-make sure the ring gap is right otherwise it will either seize once it warms up on be lown and compression.(I will post the right clearances later)
-make sure the piston is right too. too small(std piston on very worn bore or on oversized bore) and it will fit but break once it starts due to too much clearance(the alloy used on them has Silicon, this makes it very brittle. but on the good side very good on wear and have a lown expansion rate)
-in the other hand too big and it wont fit at all(eg. .50 piston on std bore)
-put the engine on bdc(bottom dead centre) so once you push it in it can go down any further
-with your fingers gently work you way around the rings(compressing them) while pushing it into the bore, it should slide in if done like so. easy as. if you just try to push it in without working the rings so they can slide in you rings can easily break. its my biggest fear haha
Good luck and tells us how it went :)

cheers pal.. i just see this .. its all done now.. took me a grand total of about 6 hours...LOL

The 2nd ring wouldnt go down but eventually put bit of 2stroke on the piston and barrl and it went on 1st or 2nd time trying.. :) happy days
